We have worked with the University of West London on the New Police Constable Curriculum and designed a new Policing Degree BSc (Hons) which will provide people thinking about a career in policing, and those already with a policing career pathway, the opportunity to research, learn and develop the knowledge, skills and experience needed to further their career. Whether for a career as a police officer or in one of the many hundreds of jobs related to making communities safer, protecting vulnerable people and helping people make different choices about their lives, this degree is designed to help you understand what is involved and build the personal characteristics to succeed.
The programme will be delivered as either a full time or part time degree and will be available for those already engaged in policing careers to consider accreditation of prior learning to help you accelerate quickly to graduation. The delivery team include people with deep, relevant and current experience as well as qualifications.
The first intake will be in September 2018 so if you are interested have a look at the University of west London web site https://www.uwl.ac.uk/course/policing/36031 or contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org for further details
