Enhancing Patrol Skills: Patrol, Communication and Tasking – Traffic Officers
This course is aimed at traffic policemen and officers to professionalise their approach to effective patrolling, recognising risks and following safe working practices.
This five day course is aimed at roads policing professionals to better understand the strategic aims of the force and the links to Road Policing to enable development of best safe working practices.
Held at a fully appointed and convenient location, this course will look at effective patrolling, recognising threats to personal safety, developing best safe working practices, dealing with the public and report writing skills.
Aims and Objectives
The course is designed to provide students with increased confidence and skills when on traffic patrol
At the end of the course the student/participant will be able to
- Describe the role of the traffic officer in Abu Dhabi
- State how you interact with the public
- Be able to effectively patrol a given area
- Recognise threats to personal safety
- Develop an understanding of emerging threats
- Know the principles of effective report writing
