Stuart holds a degree in Law from the University of Birmingham, an Honorary Doctorate in Technology from the University of Wolverhampton and Post Graduate qualifications in Management and Business Studies.
On behalf of the National Police Improvement Agency and Association of Chief Police Officers Stuart was the lead on a project which ensured that Cybercrime was embedded in in training courses for UK policing. He has been a member of international cyber-crime bodies, the national lead in policing in UK for Cyber-crime cyber-security, Student Crime, Electoral Fraud, Financial Fraud and Wildlife Crime.
Stuart has training expertise in Critical Incident Leadership and Scenario based exercises, Strategic Leadership for multi-agency delegates, Strategic training plans for organisational change, Social Media for the police and its integration in operational policing, Information Security for senior leaders, Cybercrime for strategic managers and Child Protection online.
Stuart is currently the president of the Society for the Policing of Cyberspace, the Vice President of High Tech Crime Consortium and on the Board of Directors at Cumbria University.
